Der in liebevoller Handarbeit entstandene Low-Budget-Streifen \u00fcberrascht durch ungew\u00f6hnliche Spezialeffekte und neuartige Stop-Motion Tricks. Dort traf er den Schauspieler <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm5813260\/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Daniel Tadess<\/a>, mit dem er 2013 den Kurzfilm \u201eChigger Ale\u201c inszenierte. Danach drehten die beiden den ersten \u00e4thiopischen Science-Fiction-Film <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4362764\/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201eCrumbs\u201c<\/a>, der 2015 f\u00fcr Furore bei den verschiedensten Festivals sorgte und im selben Jahr eben auch in Oldenburg zu sehen war. Der Film gewann Preise beim Los Angeles Film Festival, beim <a href=\"https:\/\/fantasiafestival.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fantasia Film Festival<\/a> in Montreal und beim <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nifff.ch\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Neuch\u00e2tel International Fantastic Film Festival<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/soundundvision.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/JSYWH_STILL01_WEB_sm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1540\" src=\"http:\/\/soundundvision.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/JSYWH_STILL01_WEB_sm-300x162.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"162\" srcset=\"https:\/\/soundundvision.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/JSYWH_STILL01_WEB_sm-300x162.jpg 300w, https:\/\/soundundvision.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/JSYWH_STILL01_WEB_sm-768x415.jpg 768w, https:\/\/soundundvision.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/JSYWH_STILL01_WEB_sm.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Der Regiseur lebt und arbeitet momentan in Tallin, der Hauptstadt Estlands. \u201eJesus Shows You The Way To The Highway\u201c hat er zum gro\u00dfen Teil dort, aber teilweise auch wieder in \u00c4thiopien gedreht. Auch daf\u00fcr gab es bereits Kritiker- und Publikumspeise.
